Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for18th Edition Electrician- With telecoms experience on a 12 Month Contract, based in Oxford.\n\nRole Summary\n\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 18th Edition Electrician to join our team on a 12-month contract based in the Oxford area. The successful candidate must hold 2391 Test & Inspect accreditation and have proven experience working within telecoms and data centre environments.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a competent and self-sufficient electrician with strong containment and installation expertise.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Installation of electrical containment systems including:\n\n * Tray\n\n * Basket\n\n * Conduit (metal & PVC)\n\n * Termination of power and data systems\n\n * Installation and routing of containment infrastructure\n\n * Testing and inspection of electrical installations\n\n * Working to technical drawings and specifications\n\n * Ensuring compliance with current wiring regulations\n\n * Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety\n\n * AC Works: Surveys, installing AC circuits, Armoured cable install, commando sockets, and MCB install ,testing and inspecting and certification.\n\n * DC Works: Installing DC circuits from new or existing PSU's to new Racks, installing data equipment in new and existing racks ,installing MCBS, live works, testing and inspecting and certification .\n\n * Cable Management: Metal trunking, Cable tray, and basket\n\n * General engineering: installing Racks, Floor tile cutting, assist in Data cable and fibre installing\n\nRequirements\n\n * Fully qualified Electrician with 18th Edition (BS 7671)\n\n * 2391 Test & Inspect qualification (or equivalent)\n\n * Proven experience in telecommunications and data centre projects\n\n * Own van and tools\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n\n * Strong understanding of health & safety regulations\n\nOur Company\n\nRubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first time
