Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, client retention, and long-term partnerships.
- Target and penetrate “whitespace” accounts to secure high-value hardware and infrastructure deals.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with Catalyst team members to drive sales and grow existing customer base.
- Lead client conversations, present solutions, and negotiate contracts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and market trends to provide forward-thinking recommendations. Deep knowledge across a diverse portfolio (Server, Storage, Networking, Cybersecurity, and Cloud) rather than a single brand.
- Navigate and leverage partnerships with key OEMs including Dell, HPE, Juniper, Fortinet, IBM, and Palo Alto Networks
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in technology sales (B2B Inside Sales) with a strong track record of success.
- Deep familiarity with enterprise networking, storage, cybersecurity, and hybrid cloud solutions from major hardware vendors.
- Established client relationships and a network you can actively engage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with prospecting, cold outreach, and building pipeline through personalized engagement.
- Proven success in solution-based and consultative selling approaches.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets and close complex deals.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software
