Account Executive – Enterprise Accounts (Manufacturing & Commercial)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (and surrounding areas)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: Base Salary $80,000–$90,000 DOE + Commission
Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive – Enterprise Accounts to drive new business and expand existing relationships within large, complex enterprise organizations—primarily in manufacturing and related commercial industries—throughout the Pittsburgh market.
This role focuses on selling comprehensive electronic security solutions, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a consultative, solution-based sales environment and is comfortable engaging senior-level decision-makers to deliver scalable, long-term security solutions.
What You’ll Do
With Our Training and Your Experience, you will:
Account Development & Growth
- Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise and large commercial/manufacturing accounts
- Sell the full continuum of solutions including physical security integration, cyber solutions, maintenance programs, managed services, and transformational services
- Increase customer lifetime value, profitability, and protect against competitive threats
Pipeline Development
- Engage real decision-makers to assess needs and build compelling business cases
- Establish why we are uniquely qualified and align on decision timelines
- Maintain a pipeline target of 3:1 over quota
Proposal Leadership & Closing
- Lead cross-functional sales pursuit teams to create winning proposals
- Deliver proposals that include pricing, business justification, and differentiated value
- Present to executive stakeholders and manage objections related to timing, price, and competition
- Drive timely go/no-go decisions through final negotiation
Market & Territory Focus
- Develop pipeline within assigned geographic and/or vertical markets
- Target markets may include manufacturing, utilities, financial/banking, healthcare, data centers, government, and education
- Ensure pipeline reflects assigned market priorities
Collaboration
- Partner with designers, estimators, sales engineers, project managers, subject matter experts, and strategic partners
- Align technical solutions with customer business objectives to win opportunities
Culture & Contribution

What You’ll Need
Education
- College degree, trade school, or equivalent relevant experience
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in electronic security solutions sales or equivalent
- Proven success in prospecting, needs assessment, solution design collaboration, proposal development, contract negotiation, and account expansion

The Account Executive manages the full sales cycle, including prospecting, needs assessment, solution design collaboration, proposal development, contract negotiation, and account growth. Success in this role requires the ability to engage with senior decision-makers, understand enterprise-level operational and security challenges, and deliver scalable, long-term security solutions.
