Industrial Battery & Charger, Inc. is a leading supplier of battery, reserve power, and critical power solutions serving telecommunications, UPS, utility, lighting inverter, data center, and other mission-critical infrastructure markets throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to drive revenue growth across established accounts while developing new business opportunities within the reserve power and standby power industry in North & South Carolina. This position is ideal for a sales professional with experience selling batteries, DC power systems, UPS solutions, telecom power equipment, or other technical products into critical infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with distributors, OEMs, contractors, and end users.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within telecommunications, utility, UPS, lighting inverter, and critical power markets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Expand existing customer relationships by identifying additional product and service opportunities.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training programs for customers and channel partners.
  • Maintain strong market awareness of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Travel throughout assigned territories to support customers and business development activities.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in a technical or electrical industry.
  • Experience selling one or more of the following:
    • Industrial batteries
    • DC power systems
    • UPS systems
    • Telecom infrastructure equipment
    • Reserve power solutions
    • Other technical electrical products
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a multi-state territory.
