As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in Finland and take ownership of key financial operations within a rapidly scaling international environment.

About the Role

The Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of finance and accounting for the Finnish operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory and tax regulations, and alignment with group policies. You will act as a key liaison between local operations, group finance, auditors, and external partners, providing both strategic insight and hands-on financial expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of finance responsibilities, including month-end closing, management reporting, forecasting, and budget preparation.
• Manage claims and reimbursement processes efficiently and in line with policy.
• Prepare tax returns, statutory filings, and corporate tax submissions in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Partner with outsource providers, auditors, and tax agents to ensure full compliance with local accounting standards and group requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls and continuously enhance financial processes and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure seamless integration of local and group reporting.
• Support ad-hoc finance initiatives and special projects as the organisation expands across new markets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally including time in a Big 4 environment.
• Strong understanding of group accounting policies, statutory compliance, and taxation principles.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); Finnish and Spanish language skills advantageous.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a high-growth, international setting.
