Position Overview: The AI Architect will lead, refine, and expand artificial intelligence and advanced digital systems across the organization for an established strong digital foundation. This position will require a strategic technical leader to strengthen, scale, and future proof our AI and data infrastructure.

This role will serve as the internal authority on AI architecture and intelligent systems. When departments want to build AI driven tools, enhance reporting, automate workflows, or explore new technologies, this individual will design solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with company objectives.

The ideal candidate is both a systems thinker and a builder with a strong understanding of infrastructure, data architecture, cloud systems, and AI model integration, and they can translate complex technical capabilities into practical business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

AI Architecture & Enterprise Strategy

• Own and maintain the company’s AI systems architecture
• Improve and optimize existing AI deployments, data pipelines, and cloud integrations
• Design scalable frameworks that allow departments to safely build and deploy AI driven tools
• Establish architectural standards to avoid technical debt and fragmentation
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic adoption

Internal AI Enablement

• Serve as the primary internal resource for AI initiatives and advanced reporting
• Partner with operations, engineering, finance, and leadership to solve business challenges using AI
• Translate business requirements into well structured technical solutions
• Create governance guidelines for responsible AI usage

Infrastructure & Performance Optimization

• Maintain and enhance cloud based AI systems and integrations
• Ensure security, compliance, reliability, and cost control of AI workloads
• Design reusable services and components to accelerate development
• Strengthen data integrity and reporting accuracy across systems

Future Focus & Innovation

• Monitor AI and economic trends that impact industrial competitiveness
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, insight, and automation
• Support leadership in long term digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications

Required

• Experience in AI architecture, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise system design
• Strong understanding of APIs, model integration, and scalable software development
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data systems
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non technical stakeholders
• High ownership mindset with strategic thinking ability
• US born or Naturalize US

• Experience implementing AI within industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environments
• Familiarity with AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Background in DevOps, containerization, or CI/CD workflows
• Experience designing enterprise analytics or reporting platforms
