Hunt Electric, Inc. of Boise, ID is searching for a full-time Licensed Electrical Apprentice to join our team. Can you adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, pulling wire, bending pipe and computing electrical formulas? Can you install control circuits and other components? Are you able to read, interpret, and understand electrical plans, complex circuit schematics, and blueprints? If so, keep on reading!

This full-time Electrical Apprentice position receives a competitive salary commensurate with experience and position responsibilities. As a full-time Electrical Apprentice electrician, you would also be eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term and long-term , a 401(k) plan, and paid personal time (PTO). A Hunt Electric-sponsored Apprentice is eligible for tuition assistance under the Hunt Tuition Assistance policy. 

QUALIFICATIONS OF AN ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE

• Be enrolled in the appropriate apprentice-level school program
• Have an active Idaho State apprentice license
• Have Fire Alarm install experience
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a Valid Drivers License
• Ability to pass a background check, drug, and functional capacity test
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs
• Must have full set of tools for the trade
• Must have experience in commercial new construction / Multifamily residential
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Electric Code
• Can bend 3/4" conduit
• Will need to show proof of hours worked (if applicable) 
• Other duties as assigned.

The apprentice must complete the number of hours required for each year in the program (a minimum of 2,000 hours of “on-the-job” training for each year of his / her apprenticeship). 

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
