Architectural Technologist (up to 5 Years’ Experience)

Data Centres & Mission Critical Projects | Up to £52,000 | Hybrid Working

A leading architectural practice specialising in data centres, mission critical, industrial, laboratory and other highly technical buildings is looking to appoint a skilled Architectural Technologist with 3–5 years’ experience to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technologist who enjoys technically complex work and wants to develop their expertise on some of the most challenging and innovative projects in the industry, within a supportive practice that genuinely invests in its people.

The Role

You will play a key role in the technical design and delivery of data centre and mission critical projects across all RIBA stages. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will support senior architects, senior technologists and engineers to ensure high-quality, coordinated project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the technical design and delivery of projects across all RIBA stages
  • Producing detailed drawing packages and technical information in Revit
  • Developing construction details and technical specifications
  • Coordinating with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure technical accuracy and buildability
  • Supporting planning, technical design and construction phases
  • Contributing to problem-solving and technical development on complex, serviced buildings

About You

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
  • Up to 5 years’ experience within an architectural practice
  • Experience on data centre, mission critical, industrial, laboratory or other complex technical projects is highly desirable
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction, detailing and building regulations
  • Confident and efficient in Revit (essential)
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-focused and keen to progress your career
  • Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
