This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for variety in their role. \n\nKey Responsibilities \nAs an Assistant / Intermediate Project Manager, you will:\n\nSupport the delivery of projects from early feasibility through to completion\nAssist in the preparation and management of project programmes, budgets and risk registers\nCoordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams\nAttend and contribute to design team, client and site meetings\nMonitor project progress, reporting on key milestones, risks and issues\nSupport procurement strategies, including tender processes and contractor appointments\nAssist with change control, cost tracking and value management\nEnsure projects are delivered in line with quality, time, cost and safety expectations\nGain increasing responsibility and autonomy as you progress, with clear mentoring from senior staffDepending on the project, this may include regular site presence. \n\nRequirements: \n\nThey're seeking someone who is:\n\nIntelligent, motivated and hardworking\nProfessional and confident when dealing with clients and site teams\nKeen to build a long-term career in private sector project managementKey requirements:\n\nPrivate sector experience would be advantageous\nStrong contract knowledge (JCT and NEC)\nFull UK driving licence\nExperience from a construction consultancy would be \nDegree qualified in a construction related field\nChartered or working towards chartership (APM, RICS or CIOB)Benefits include:\n\nCar allowance\nCompany credit card (for expenses)\nPension contribution\nChartership fees fully covered\nCycle to Work scheme\n28 days annual leave + Bank holidays \nFlexible working where possible (construction-led role)\nHands-on leadership and regular 1-to-1s\nStructured CPD training programme\nExtremely social culture - from social events to team challenges and milestone celebrations\nA genuinely supportive environment where people are encouraged to progress quickly but sustainablyIf this sounds like a company that you would like to work for, apply today!
