From large-scale upgrades to continuous performance optimisation, you'll ensure automation systems are reliable, efficient, and future-ready.\n\nYou'll work at the intersection of project delivery, technology, and leadership, managing skilled engineers and collaborating with global clients who demand the highest standards of performance.\n\nLondon \n\n£60,000 - £80,000 \nYearly Bonus \nCar Allowance \nHybrid Working \nPension \nHealthcare \n\nResponsibilities:\n\nLead the delivery of automation and control projects across multiple data centre sites in the London region.\nOversee design, installation, and commissioning of PLC/SCADA control systems (Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider platforms).\nManage ongoing service contracts, ensuring uptime, resilience, and compliance with data centre standards.\nCoordinate with internal engineering teams and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.\nProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and direction to project and service engineers.\nDevelop automation strategies that improve system performance, energy efficiency, and scalability.\nAct as a key client interface, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. \n\nRequired Experience:\n\nProven background managing automation or control system projects within data centres, industrial facilities, or other mission-critical environments.\nStrong understanding of PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication networks.\nExperience leading multi-disciplinary teams across project delivery and service operations.\nExcellent client-facing and commercial management skills.\nStrong technical foundation in system integration, commissioning, and controls design.\nAbility to work autonomously, make confident decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
