B2 FLT Counterbalance Driver\n\nLocation: Hull (HU9)\n\nPay: £14.36 per hour (rising to £16.37 once on rotating shifts)\n\nHours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00\n\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced B2 FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Hull.\n\nOur client is part of a globally recognised group, producing high-quality building materials used across commercial projects, data centres, and infrastructure. Their Hull site is a key UK operation, known for its modern facilities, strong health & safety standards, and focus on sustainability and continuous improvement.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team in a fast-paced, professional environment.\n\nWorking Hours\n\nMonday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 during initial training\n\nMoving to rotating shifts once trained:\n\n06:00 – 14:00\n\n14:00 – 22:00\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOperating Counterbalance FLTs (B2 licence required)\n\nLoading and unloading lorries and trailers\n\nTransporting goods and materials safely across site\n\nSupplying raw materials to production lines and removing finished goods\n\nUsing handheld scanners and warehouse systems to maintain accurate stock records\n\nKeeping work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards\n\nFollowing operational procedures and reporting to supervisors\n\nRequirements\n\nValid, in-date B2 Counterbalance FLT licence\n\nPrevious experience within a manufacturing or warehouse environment\n\nExperience using handheld scanners and WMS/stock systems\n\nAbility to safely load and unload vehicles\n\nReliable, proactive, and safety-conscious approach\n\nStrong communication and teamwork skills\n\nPlease note: A B2 licence covers forklift trucks with a lifting capacity between 5,000kg and 15,000kg.\n\nAqumen Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
