About the Role

Our client is hiring Battery Technicians for a large-scale UPS battery swap project. This is a traveling, labor-intensive, entry-level opportunity ideal for individuals eager to break into the DC Power and Data Center industry. No prior experience is required—comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various data center sites in and around Pittsburgh
• Replace approximately 9,000 UPS batteries (each weighing 110–120 lbs)
• Work within data center environments and central office telecom sites
• Use basic hand tools for installation and removal
• Maintain compliance with drug, BGC, and vaccination requirements

• Must reside within 30 miles of Pittsburgh
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions
• comfortable with heavy lifting
• Reliable personal vehicle required for travel
• Mileage reimbursement provided
• Willingness to travel extensively

Schedule & Compensation

• Work Hours: 1st shift (with potential for 1–2 hours of daily OT)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
