This is a premier opportunity to advance your career while contributing to world-class projects that shape the future of technology and infrastructure.LOCATIONCincinnati, OH 45202COMPENSATION$150,000 – $200,000 Base Salary SCHEDULE40 hours, Monday – Friday 100% On-SitePOSITION OVERVIEWThe Bio-Life Sciences Project Engineer serves as the on-site representative and day-to-day executor for a major pharmaceutical/bio-life sciences EPC project in Cincinnati, OH. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role acts as a lower-level project manager—responsible for supporting the Project Manager in coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional Package Team through all phases of a defined package scope—from design through construction, commissioning, and handover
  • Serve as a primary on-site point-of-contact for project stakeholders including subcontractors, trades, and the client
  • Track and manage project progress daily; lead weekly updates of project data in database and controls platforms
  • Coordinate RFI responses, submittal reviews, shop drawing approvals, and inspection sign-offs with the project team
  • Support finalization of bid documents, ensuring they are correct, complete, and coordinated prior to bid
  • Manage bid evaluations, determine successful bidders, and coordinate contract award with PM approval
  • Establish and maintain project submittal tracking; address and resolve subcontractor submission issues weekly
  • Host project kick-off meetings and develop kick-off materials with the project team
  • Participate in Commissioning Core Team Meetings; coordinate team involvement in commissioning procedures
  • Arrange and manage site inspections, punch lists, and system tagging
  • Collect and submit all project documentation including as-built documentation and O&M manuals to the appropriate leads
  • Support the final project handover to the client (Eli Lilly)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Bio/Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in bio-life sciences, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or chemistry-related construction or engineering
  • Background working with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies
  • Experience in or exposure to pharmaceutical/biotech facility construction strongly
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to be 100% on-site in Cincinnati, OH; willingness to relocate required
  • Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and project management tools
