Job DescriptionBMS Commissioning EngineerLocation: Glasgow, UK (Site-based with regional travel)Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)Benefits: Company car or car allowance + benefits packageEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentRecruiter: Vantage ConsultingAbout theBMS Commissioning EngineerWe are currently supporting the search for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a growing building controls team delivering projects across Glasgow and the surrounding region.This role involves commissioning, testing, and optimising Building Management Systems on a variety of commercial and industrial sites, supporting the delivery of efficient and sustainable building performance.Key Responsibilities of aBMS Commissioning Engineer- Commissioning and validation of BMS systems (Trend, Siemens, Schneider, Distech, Tridium or equivalent)- Carrying out point-to-point checks, I/O testing, and full functional performance testing- Integrating HVAC plant in line with design specifications- Diagnosing and resolving commissioning and control issues on-site- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and client teams- Producing accurate commissioning documentation and handover packs- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards- Supporting client demonstrations and system handoversAbout You- Proven experience in a BMS Commissioning Engineer or similar controls role- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and building automation- Experience with major BMS platforms- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills- Full UK driving licence (regional travel required)- Confident working independently and as part of a teamDesirable Experience of aBMS Commissioning Engineer- BACnet, Modbus, KNX or similar protocols- Experience in large commercial environments (e.g. hospitals, data centres, retail)- Knowledge of energy optimisation or smart building systemsWhats on Offer for aBMS Commissioning Engineer- Salary up to £60,000 (DOE)- Company car or car allowance- Pension scheme and additional benefits- Ongoing training and professional development- Opportunity to work on high-profile commercial projects- Clear progression opportunities within the sectorTPBN1_UKTJ
