Job Title: Mobile BMS Engineer (Trend & Tridium)\n\nLocation: Mobile Role (London and South East)\n\nEmployment Type: Full-Time / Permanent\n\nOverview\n\nWe are seeking an experienced BMS Engineer with strong skills in Trend and Tridium (Niagara) systems to join our growing Building Management Systems team. This is a mobile role, requiring travel to client sites for planned maintenance, reactive support, commissioning, and small works across a wide range of commercial buildings.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n- Provide on-site and remote support for BMS systems, primarily Trend and Tridium/Niagara.\n\n- Carry out PPM (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and functional checks to ensure system performance and energy efficiency.\n\n- Diagnose and resolve faults, alarms, and control issues across a variety of HVAC and building automation systems.\n\n- Perform adjustments, re-commissioning, and optimisation to improve system performance.\n\n- Support and deliver small works, including software modifications, panel upgrades, and controller replacements.\n\n- Install and configure Trend IQ controllers, IQL systems, and Tridium/Niagara frameworks.\n\n- Produce clear and accurate technical reports, RAMS, and documentation following each visit.\n\n- Work closely with clients, facility managers, and project teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.\n\n- Participate in out-of-hours emergency support (if part of team rota).\n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Trend BMS (IQ Vision, IQ3/4 controllers, SET tools).\n\n- Proven knowledge of Tridium Niagara (AX/N4), including graphics, logic, and integration.\n\n- Good understanding of HVAC plant, control theory, and building automation.\n\n- Ability to fault-find, commission, and optimise BMS systems independently.\n\n- Experience working in commercial environments such as offices, hospitals, data centres, or industrial buildings.\n\n- Full UK driving licence (mobile role).\n\n- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\n- Trend Commissioning Engineer or Expert certification.\n\n- Tridium N4 Certification (Niagara 4 Technical Certification).\n\n- Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent).\n\n- Experience with additional BMS/controls platforms (Siemens, Schneider, Cylon, etc.).\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n- Competitive salary\n\n- Training and development opportunities (Trend, Tridium, and energy optimisation).\n\n- holiday, pension, and other benefits depending on package
