Job DescriptionOur client, a top-tier Main Contractor delivering high-profile Data Centre projects, is looking to appoint a Building Services Manager to lead MEP technical input from preconstruction through to delivery.\n

\n This is a central, multi-project role — rather than being embedded on a single site, you'll provide MEP design and technical leadership across several live projects at once, with a hybrid working pattern of around 3 days working from home and 2 days on site.\n
\n

Building Services Manager roles & responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Providing MEP technical input and design leadership across multiple live Data Centre projects, from preconstruction through to delivery

\n

• Acting as the technical authority on mechanical and electrical matters, supporting project teams with coordination, risk management and design assurance

\n

• A hybrid working pattern: typically 3 days working from home, 2 days on site (across whichever project needs you most that week)

\n

• Working closely with Design Managers, Commercial Leads and delivery teams across the portfolio

\n

Building Services Manager experience required:\n
\n

\n
• Previous Data Centre build project experience is essential — this is a non-negotiable requirement

\n

• A strong Mechanical & Electrical technical background covering both preconstruction and delivery stages

\n

• Main contractor background

\n

• Comfortable operating across multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising and managing competing technical demands

\n

Building Services Manager remuneration:\n
\n

\n
• £110,000 – £125,000 + full package

\n

• Hybrid working — flexibility to balance home and site

\n
