About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Building Systems IT Engineer to join our New York office. At JB&B, you'll provide exceptional service to clients and handle both technical and non-technical tasks such as research, analysis, design, and documentation. Ideal candidates are eager to learn new skills and will collaborate with senior leaders, including Partners on client projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Designs technology room fit-out and coordination of MEP elements within technology rooms
- Assembles and understands riser diagrams, schedules, floor plans
- Plans and coordinates routing of major distribution
- Performs all calculations including cable conduit fill, heat loads, and power receptacle requirements for technology equipment
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
- 1-2 years of experience utilizing Revit 3D modeling tool
- Possess relevant experience through internships and coursework
- Experience with applicable design software tools (including AutoCAD)
- Basic understanding of the electrical coordination required with other trades

Estimated compensation range: $79,000-$82,000 annual salary
