The Company\nA rapidly growing global technology business operating across telecoms, connectivity, and digital infrastructure. Following strong UK and European growth, the company is now expanding into the Data Centre Infrastructure sector and is seeking an experienced BDM to lead this exciting new area.\nThe Role\nThis is a hybrid sales positionwhere you’ll drive business development within data centre, telecoms, and network infrastructure markets. Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll develop and deliver the UK sales strategy — with the future opportunity to build and manage your own team as the business scales.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and execute sales strategies for the Data Centre Infrastructure and Telecoms sectors.\nIdentify and secure new business opportunities across telecoms operators, data centre providers, and enterprise customers.\nManage the full sales cycle – from lead and tender management to negotiation and close.\nBuild and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and technical decision-makers.\nPrepare proposals, bids, and presentations to win new projects.\nReport on performance, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management.\nCapture the Voice of the Customer (VOC) to shape product and solution development.\nAbout You:\n8+ years’ experience in B2B sales or business development within Data Centre Infrastructure, Telecoms, or Network Solutions.\nStrong technical knowledge of connectivity, data centre engineering, and network infrastructure.\nProven track record of winning new business and growing key accounts.\nExperience with tenders, bids, and PQQ processes.\nExcellent relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.\nEntrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working remotely with autonomy.\nFluent in English (written and verbal).\nThe Offer:\nBasic Salary: £65,000 – £78,000\nUncapped commission – OTE c.£115,000\nAt least one day per week in the office working alongside a great team of technical specialists\nClear route to build and lead a sales team\nInnovative, growing company with global reach
