What You Will Be Doing
- Drive new business development across industrial construction sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with:
- Owners / End Users
- General Contractors
- Developers
- Architects & Engineers
- Manage and grow a pipeline of opportunities
- Lead client outreach:
- Calls, meetings, site visits, industry events
- Promote technical solutions:
- SFRC (Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete)
- Jointless / extended joint slab systems
- Identify early-stage opportunities and influence design/specs
- Collaborate with Estimating & Engineering on proposals
- Participate in:
- Pre-bid meetings
- Client presentations
- Scope reviews
- Ensure smooth handoff to Operations post-award
- Maintain relationships throughout project lifecycle → drive repeat business
- Track pipeline and activity in HubSpot CRM
- Provide forecasting, reporting, and market intelligence
Experience You Will Need
- 5+ years in:
- Construction business development
- Sales
- OR project management (client-facing)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Commercial / industrial construction markets
- Proven ability to:
- Generate new business
- Build long-term client relationships
- Strong:
- Communication
- Negotiation
- Presentation skills
- Self-driven with hunter + relationship mindset
Nice-to-Have
- Concrete / flatwork / flooring systems experience
- Knowledge of ACI standards / slab-on-grade
- Experience selling engineered/technical solutions
- Existing relationships in:
- Data centers
- Warehousing / logistics
- Manufacturing
- Experience influencing design/spec phase
