Data Center Technician

Allied Resources is seeking the expertise of a Data Center Technician to join our team! In this role you’ll be responsible for installing and terminating low-voltage and fiber optic cables, set up network equipment, perform testing and troubleshooting, and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. A day in the life:

• Pull, route, label and terminate cable (fiber optic experience a plus)
• Install and terminate low voltage and fiber optic cable
• Install ladder racks, networking equipment and telephone equipment
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of cabling

The wish list:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience installing network cabling or general construction.
• Ability to follow blueprints/schematics.
• Own basic hand tools and safety gear required
