Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday (weekends and overtime as needed) Pay: $21/hr DOE
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and experienced Certified Forklift Operator / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our fabrication team supporting oilfield and data center building, panel, and rack production. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, experience operating multiple types of forklifts and heavy equipment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Load, unload, move, and stack materials efficiently to support fabrication and shipping needs
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
- Assist with inventory management and material handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
- Complete required paperwork and equipment inspection reports
Job Requirements
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required)
- Minimum 2–5 years of forklift and heavy equipment operating experience
- Experience operating multiple types of industrial equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable and able to work locally in the Odessa, TX area
Qualifications
- OSHA Safety Training
- Experience in construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or oilfield operations
- CDL (a plus but not required)
- Knowledge of preventive equipment maintenance
