- Operate deposition and etching tools in support of production and development projects
- Perform manual spin coating and wet bench processing
- Operate metrology including Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM), automated optical inspection, electrical test, and profilometry
- Inspect wafers and write reports documenting process defects
- Perform tool qualifications for process monitoring
- Work with engineers and scientists to resolve tool and process issues

A day in the life
This role is flexible but is mainly 2nd shift. The position may require occasional weekend work.

The candidate will spend most of the day in a cleanroom environment, performing hands-on fabrication tasks using semiconductor fabrication equipment. The candidate will carry out wafer processing steps including deposition, etching, spin coating, wet bench processing, and metrology operation for quantum computing product chips, as well as for development projects led by scientists and engineers. The role may include occasional off hours work including evenings, nights and weekends.

About the team
Our team is comprised of scientists and engineers who are building hardware that enables quantum computing technologies. Doing that requires the fabrication of quantum devices, which necessitates staying close to the details and feeding that back to process improvements.
