The Chemical Engineering helps support water treatment projects for industrial and data center customers. This role offers hands-on learning with real projects, exposure to modern technologies and software tools, and the opportunity to grow technical and communication skills in a team environment. It’s a great fit for students who are curious, motivated, and interested in a future customer-facing engineering role. This will work with experienced engineers to learn how systems are designed, documented, and delivered.

Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Learn and support engineering basics by helping with simple calculations, equipment sizing, and understanding how water treatment systems work.
  • Create and update drawings and documents such as flow diagrams, layouts, and parts lists with guidance from the engineering team.
  • Assist with proposals and projects by helping gather information, review customer requirements, and support cost and sizing worksheets.
  • Gain hands-on experience by working with engineers, using internal tools (including AI tools), and participating in site visits, testing, or equipment startups when possible.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Currently studying engineering or a related technical field, such as chemical, civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering (or similar).
  • Interested in learning engineering tools and fundamentals, including basic calculations, drawings, and software; prior experience with CAD, modeling, or coding tools is a plus but not required.
  • Motivated, curious, and reliable, with good communication skills, a team-first attitude, and willingness to travel occasionally for site visits or training.
  • Willingness to learn how systems work and ask good questions.
  • Ability to think through basic problems and look for practical solutions.
  • Works well with others, follows through on tasks, and meets deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour (non-exempt, hourly position).
• Benefits: This position is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits.
