You will help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment on commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, data centers, and critical cooling facilities. Working independently, you will also:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various HVAC systems including: Split systems (including large split systems), Built up systems, Water source heat pumps, SWUD/SCUD equipment
- Troubleshoot air flow, air distribution, building pressure, and VAV systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair VFDs in various applications.
- Trace out and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair: Air cooled scroll chillers, Air cooled and water-cooled reciprocating chillers, Air cooled and water-cooled screw chillers up to 200 tons
- Teardown semi-hermetic compressors and perform in-field repairs or determine reasons for failure.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair specialized systems such as Liebert equipment, Aaon units, and Seasons 4 systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair package units including large tonnage units such as Intellipaks.
- Collaborate with other team members to proactively anticipate and develop solutions to client problems.
- Demonstrate professional craftsmanship and pride in your work.
- Articulate diagnostics and resolutions in communications and correspondence with clients and team.
- Work safely following industry standards.
Requirements:
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you bring the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair package units, split systems, and water source heat pumps. You also have a natural ability to read and understand wiring diagrams. Along with a professional demeanor and tactful and courteous communication with a diverse client base, we would like to see:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial HVAC experience.

- Texas ACR Registered
- Current EPA Certification
- Current Texas TDLR Registration
