Hiring: Senior Civil Technician (CAD)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Civil Technician to join a well-established international engineering consultancy delivering major infrastructure and development projects across the UK and Europe.
\n
\n
You’ll work as part of a highly collaborative Civil Engineering team on a diverse portfolio including:
\n
• Major infrastructure schemes
\n
• Data centre developments
\n
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
\n
• Drainage and highways projects
\n
• Commercial & residential developments
\n
\n
This role offers exposure across all project stages — from concept design through to construction — with genuine opportunities for professional development and progression.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n
• Produce high-quality 3D models and technical drawings
\n
• Support the development and coordination of civil engineering designs
\n
• Work across roads, drainage, and earthworks projects
\n
• Ensure all deliverables meet required quality and accuracy standards
\n
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
\n
• Assist in developing and improving CAD standards and workflows
\n
\n
✅ What We’re Looking For:
\n
• 5–7 years’ experience within civil engineering projects
\n
• Strong Civil 3D experience for infrastructure modelling
\n
• Excellent AutoCAD skills for construction drawing production
\n
• Experience working on roads, drainage, and earthworks schemes
\n
• Strong communication and organisational skills
\n
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
\n
\n
⭐ Desirable Experience:
\n
• OpenRoads
\n
• Revit
\n
• Navisworks
\n
• Autodesk Vehicle Tracking
\n
• BIM Level 2 environments
\n
\n
Qualifications:
\n
• HND/HNC or equivalent in an engineering-related discipline
\n
• CAD-related qualifications advantageous
\n
\n
