Our client, a leading developer and operator of high-performance data centres across Asia Pacific, is seeking a seasoned Cluster Security Manager to oversee and enhance security operations across multiple facilities within a regional cluster. This critical role is responsible for safeguarding assets, personnel, and infrastructure through effective security policies, risk management, and operational leadership.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Cluster Security Manager will lead security strategy, daily operations, and incident management across a multi-building environment. The successful candidate will manage security personnel, vendor relationships, and access control systems, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and protocols across the cluster.
- Oversee daily security operations, staff performance, and training programmes.
- Manage access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and lead incident response initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to deliver high-quality services.
- Deliver security awareness training to staff and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present security reports to senior management.
- Manage cluster-wide security budgets and resources effectively.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen security posture.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Information Security, or related discipline.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, PSP) preferred.
- Proven experience in security management, ideally within data centres or other high-security facilities.
- Strong understanding of security systems, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with security management systems and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-demand environment.
