CNC Machine Operator – Data Centre Solutions Provider
Location: Buntingford
Salary: £16 – £17 per hour + Overtime (paid after 40 hours)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm | Overtime Available | Ongoing Permanent Work

Are you an experienced CNC Machine Operator looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing and innovative Data Centre solutions provider? We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator / CNC Punch Operator / Sheet Metal Machine Operator to join our client’s dedicated team in Buntingford.

The Role:

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining punch press machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal components. Working within a busy production environment, you will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor punch press machines in line with company standards.

*

Carry out quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.

*

Read and interpret technical drawings.

*

Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment.

*

Support colleagues and contribute to smooth production workflow.

Skills & Experience Required:

*

Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar (e.g., Punch Press Operator / Machine Setter / CNC Operator).

*

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*

Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication is desirable.
