About the Position:

We are seeking experienced Commercial and Industrial Electricians for long-term electrical projects in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Candidates must have hands-on experience in commercial and industrial settings — data center experience is a huge plus.

Electricians must have all required hand tools and PPE, be dependable, and ready to work overtime as needed. A state-issued electrical license is required if applicable in your state of residence.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable electrical experience in commercial and/or industrial construction.
• Experience working on data centers .
• Must have all standard hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work overtime and maintain excellent attendance.
• Must have a current state-issued electrical license if required by the state.

Standard Job Duties:

1.       Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

2.       Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.

3.       Run and bend conduit (EMT, rigid, etc.) according to job specifications.

4.       Pull wire, terminate panels, and install devices such as switches, outlets, and lighting.

5.       Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and safety compliance.

6.       Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.

7.       Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company standards on the jobsite.
