We are seeking a highly competent Commissioning (Cx) Manager or Senior QA/QC Manager with deep expertise in heavy technical MEP systems to oversee critical infrastructure delivery for a multi-phase, hyper-scale data center campus development in Dallas, TX.

Representing tier #1 general contractor, this role requires a professional capable of managing the transition from advanced mechanical/electrical installation through to final integrated systems testing (IST). We are open to candidates from two distinct backgrounds: dedicated MEP Commissioning Management, or "True" Mechanical/Electrical QA/QC focused on field-level build quality, pre-functional testing, and system integrity outside of a traditional Cx agency scope.

Core Responsibilities

- System Ownership: Direct and manage the execution of Level 1 through Level 5 (L1–L5) commissioning processes for hyper-scale data center infrastructure, or lead comprehensive mechanical/electrical QA/QC programs from rough-in to equipment startup.
- Technical Oversight: Review and validate complex electrical topologies (substations, MV/LV distribution, generators, UPS systems, STS) or heavy mechanical systems (chilled water plants, CRAH/CRAC units, direct evaporative cooling, and complex hydronic piping).
- Execution & Compliance: Author, review, and approve detailed Method Statements, Pre-Functional Checklists (PFCs), Functional Performance Tests (FPTs), and script execution plans for Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Trade Coordination: Manage and hold accountable MEP trade partners, equipment vendors, third-party commissioning agents (CxA), and client engineering teams to maintain aggressive delivery schedules without sacrificing quality.
- Defect Resolution: Drive the field-level QA/QC punch-list and deficiency tracking matrix, ensuring root-cause analysis is performed for any equipment or system failures during startup and testing.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Hyper-Scale Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of direct experience managing MEP commissioning or heavy QA/QC programs specifically on large-scale data center campuses, semiconductor fabrication plants, or highly complex industrial facilities.
- Deep Subject Matter Expertise: Must possess a verifiable technical background in either:
- Electrical (EE): High-voltage/medium-voltage distribution, generator synchronization, UPS topology, and commissioning management.
- Mechanical (ME): Advanced industrial cooling systems, complex piping infrastructure, controls/BMS validation, and test, adjust, and balance (TAB) oversight.
- Field-First Mindset: Proven ability to step away from the desk and actively inspect work in the field, run test scripts, verify torque/megger logs, or witness hydrostatic and air pressure testing firsthand.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptionally clear, direct communication style. Ability to manage high-pressure situations, coordinate multi-party alignment meetings, and deliver concise technical updates to project executives and client representatives.
