We are looking for a highly motivated Commissioning Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of commissioning for complex, mission-critical and data center projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong general contracting background and deep experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and sophisticated MEP systems.

The Commission Manager must have experience and feel comfortable supporting projects $50M-$150M+.

What you will be doing:

Lead commissioning efforts for multiple large-scale data center projects, covering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and specialty systems.
Create and manage detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and workflows across all phases-from pre-functional testing to final turnover.
Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and third-party commissioning agents to ensure smooth execution.
Identify and manage risks related to schedule, system readiness, and critical path activities.
Ensure systems meet quality, code compliance, redundancy, and reliability standards.
Represent the commissioning team in client meetings, providing technical updates and progress reports.
Collaborate with preconstruction teams to review designs, anticipate challenges, and improve system sequencing.
Promote continuous improvement by implementing technology tools, standardizing workflows, and mentoring teams.
Oversee final turnover, including documentation, owner training, and lessons learned.

What you need for this position:

10+ years of Commissioning experience in Mission-Critical or Data Center projects, preferably with a General Contractor.
10+ years of Commssioning experience on projects 30M-100M+. 
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong leadership and coordination skills across cross-functional teams and external partners.
Deep knowledge of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and integrated systems commissioning.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, especially in client-facing settings.
Experience delivering hyperscale or enterprise-level data centers.
Proficiency in tools like Primavera P6, Procore, BIM 360, and commissioning software.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE, NEBB, and BCA.
