About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission critical data center commissioning projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leading high performing teams and delivering complex projects from design through final commissioning.

\n

\n

You will work alongside experienced technical professionals in a fast paced environment where you will have the autonomy to make decisions and drive successful project outcomes.

\n

Candidates with experience across the full Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning process within hyperscale data centers are highly desirable.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

Project Delivery

\n

    \n
  • Lead commissioning projects from preconstruction through final handover.

    • \n

  • Manage project schedules, budgets and deliverables.

    • \n

  • Oversee functional testing, system validation and issue resolution.

    • \n

  • Ensure projects are delivered safely on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

    • \n

Technical Leadership

\n

    \n
  • Identify project risks, technical issues and scope gaps early.

    • \n

  • Work closely with engineering and site teams to resolve technical challenges.

    • \n

  • Review drawings, specifications and contract documents to ensure successful project execution.

    • \n

\n

\n

Financial Management

\n

    \n
  • Monitor project profitability and resource utilisation.

    • \n

  • Support forecasting, invoicing and financial reporting.

    • \n

  • Help maintain strong commercial performance across projects.

    • \n

\n

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor and support commissioning engineers.

    • \n

  • Assist with recruitment, workforce planning and team development.

    • \n

  • Promote accountability, collaboration and consistent project delivery.

    • \n

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

Experience

\n

    \n
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in commissioning, engineering or mission critical construction.

    • \n

  • Proven experience delivering data center commissioning projects.

    • \n

  • Experience managing multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams.

    • \n

\n

\n

Experience

    \n
  • Full Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning experience.

    • \n

  • Experience working on hyperscale data center projects.

    • \n

\n

\n

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

    • \n

  • Thorough knowledge of commissioning processes and integrated building systems.

    • \n

  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical specifications and contract documents.

    • \n

  • Strong client relationship management skills.

  • Experience leading, mentoring and developing technical teams.
