As a Configuration & Infrastructure Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in deploying and supporting the network and technology systems that power modern classrooms. This hands-on position provides the opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects while ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing network and low-voltage IT systems across School District facilities.In this role, you will help deploy and maintain the LAN, wireless, security, and communication systems that keep school networks reliable, secure, and connected.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, VoIP, IP camera, and public address/intercom systems
• Deploy and support network switches, wireless controllers, and IP-based infrastructure
• Support structured cabling installations including Cat6e and fiber connections
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues across school sites
• Conduct site surveys and assist with project planning, scopes of work (SOW), and equipment lists (BOM)
• Track equipment, maintain documentation, and provide project status updates
• Collaborate with District IT teams, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience installing and configuring low-voltage IT or network infrastructure systems
• Experience with enterprise networking, security systems, or communication platforms
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills

Certifications & Experience

• CCNA, BICSI RCDD, or Genetec certifications
• Experience with Cisco or HPE networking, Aruba wireless, Cisco VoIP/CUCM, Genetec Security Center, Valcom IP PA, or DMP security systems
