Configuration Management Analyst

We are seeking a qualified Configuration Management Analyst to support a secure DOD customer located in Ogden, UT. The overall program that this role supports aims to modernize legacy USAF network infrastructure and migrate services into a new AWS Cloud Environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain CM files, including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records.
• Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine the effect on the overall product and system.
• Coordinate modification records for management control.
• Establish change orders and prepare for change authorization and documentation by the company and subcontractor.
• Maintain and enforce configuration management policies and procedures.
• Maintain the baseline using automated Configuration Management tools.
• Track and maintain the project change requests, impact assessments, incident reports, and change notices continuously.
• Attend customer meetings, kick-off meetings, configuration meetings, and production meetings as needed.
• Ensure that customer requirements are implemented and review changes to accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
• Demonstrated experience with such concepts as virtualization, storage, networking, cloud computing, and CMDB
• Basic knowledge of software licensing concepts

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Must possess an Interim or Active Secret clearance or be eligible for a Secret clearance
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
• Configuration Management Software Process familiarization.
• Must possess a strong proficiency with Data Management.
• Demonstrated experience with and Access Management.
• Demonstrated experience with Configuration Management Software Tools.
• Strong Communication and Coordination Skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)..
• Experience working in a data center environment
• ITIL experience/certification
• Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Security+ certification

EDUCATION LEVEL:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT-related field with 2-4 years of related professional experience. A Master's Degree may be substituted.
