Connectivity Strategy Lead

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for leading schedule analysis and risk management for Engineering to ensure network readiness aligns with capacity delivery milestones. You'll develop and implement strategies to streamline end-to-end physical network infrastructure development and deployment while partnering with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects and drive alignment. You'll also lead engineering collaboration with sourcing teams to develop supply chain strategies that minimize material lead times and maximize engineering design time. Additionally, you'll develop systems and metrics to track Engineering deliverables, metrics and feedback for improvement with construction and structured cabling design teams.Connectivity Strategy Lead Responsibilities

  • Lead schedule analysis and risk management to ensure network readiness aligns with capacity delivery milestones
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline end to end development from network physical design through server readiness
  • Lead Engineering in interface with Sourcing to develop supply chain strategies to minimize material lead times, increase supply inventory, and maximize time for engineering to evolve connectivity designs
  • Drive engineering qualification of components across multiple suppliers
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (SP, CEA, NetEng, ISCE, and IE) to align on priority of projects
  • Develop a system to track the releases of bill of materials (BOM) for all Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) connectivity components for all data center work to include green field new builds, network upgrades (techmods), retrofits, and leases
  • Own the management of New Product Introductions (NPI) and component qualifications. Capture, track, drive and communicate status of those qualifications to cross functional partners
  • Lead a team of Contract Workers to deliver Connectivity BOM complete with delivery dates, kitting, locations, and funding information for Sourcing team to execute
  • Develop a feedback mechanism with structured cable design team and construction teams to identify pain points, business needs and to drive continuous improvement with Engineering team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or a related field, with a focus on data center deployment, network infrastructure, or similar industries
  • Experience with product life cycle management (PLM) process
  • Experience in strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving, with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive complex projects and influence stakeholders
  • Experience with supply chain planning, procurement, and logistics
  • Demonstrated spreadsheet expertise and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience working in the technology or data center industry, with knowledge of data center infrastructure and network architecture
  • Detail oriented, demonstrated experience to provide solutions to complex problems and to meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively engaging different cross-functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated communication skills to working team members and leadership
  • Supplier interface and supplier management experience
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification
  • Experience with supply chain planning and optimization tools, such as SAP APO, Manhattan Associates, or similar
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, Smartsheets, or similar
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, SQL, or similar
  • Experience with lean, six sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, artificial intelligence, or machine learning applications in supply chain management
  • Leadership and management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Change management and stakeholder management skills, with ability to drive organizational change
  • Business acumen and financial management skills, with ability to analyze and drive business decisions

$157,000/year to $218,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
