A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Director to join the senior leadership team on one of the UK's most significant healthcare developments.\n\nThis is a flagship £1bn+ programme in Norfolk, offering over 10 years of secured work and the opportunity to play a pivotal role from pre-construction through to full project delivery.\n\nReporting directly into the Project Director, you will operate as the number two on the scheme, taking ownership of construction strategy, operational delivery, stakeholder management, programme performance, and team leadership across multiple phases of the development lifecycle.\n\nThe project itself is a highly complex, large-scale healthcare scheme incorporating cutting-edge clinical facilities, extensive infrastructure, and technically challenging construction packages.\n\nKey responsibilities will include:\n\nLeading construction delivery from early-stage planning through to completion\nSupporting pre-construction strategy, logistics, sequencing, and buildability\nManaging large multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners\nDriving programme, safety, quality, and operational performance\nWorking closely with client stakeholders, consultants, and internal leadership teams\nActing as a key leadership figure across the wider project organisationPrevious healthcare experience would be advantageous given the nature and complexity of the scheme, however candidates from other major project backgrounds will also be considered.
