Construction Field Coordinator/Project Engineer

We are a fast growing Commercial Interiors Contracting group located in Greenville SC. We specialize in Metal stud framing, Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings and other specialty interior products and exterior specialty cladding.

 

We are seeking a Construction Field Coordinator to support a large commercial data center project. This role is ideal for someone who understands construction operations but is highly organized and comfortable handling jobsite documentation, safety coordination and daily supporting the operations team.

The position will spend part of the day on the jobsite and part of the day completing administrative construction tasks such as safety documentation, crew onboarding paperwork, and coordination with field supervision.

This is a boots-on-the-ground role, but the majority of the responsibilities involve keeping the jobsite organized and compliant with documentation.

 

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Documentation

• Prepare and complete daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and associated daily documentation
• Track and maintain safety certifications and training records
• Coordinate jobsite access paperwork and onboarding documentation
• Maintain safety documentation required for site compliance
• Assist with toolbox talks and safety communication

Jobsite Coordination

• Walk the jobsite to observe work activities and safety compliance
• Assist field supervision with documentation and reporting
• Track manpower and daily production notes when needed
• Support QC documentation and jobsite checklists
• Help coordinate paperwork required for crews to begin work

Administrative Support

• Organize and submit required jobsite paperwork
• Maintain project documentation and logs
• Assist with miscellaneous jobsite administrative tasks
• Help ensure crews have completed all required certifications before starting work

 

Requirements

• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 )
• Construction experience (commercial construction ideal)
• Ability to walk active construction jobsites daily
• Strong organization and documentation skills
• Comfortable working with field personnel and supervision
• Basic computer skills (Excel, email, digital forms),daily forms are all hand written each day

**Background check, SS#, drug testing and government id required
