Seeking a Project Engineer or Project Manager with a mechanical or construction background to join the team in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project professional seeking greater autonomy and variety in a dynamic and growth industry.

The Role

You’ll manage and support projects from design through to installation and commissioning, ensuring each one is delivered safely, on time, and to client expectations. Working closely with design, production, civils, and installation teams, you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of engineering project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage or assist with multiple projects from order to completion

* Coordinate civil, mechanical, and electrical site works

* Support or lead site installation teams and subcontractors

* Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments

* Monitor budgets, schedules, and project documentation

* Conduct site visits to oversee installation and commissioning

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

About You

* Degree / experience in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, or related discipline

* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Comfortable liaising with clients and site teams

* IT literate, able to read and interpret technical drawings

* Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn

* Experience managing projects or working in a site-based engineering environment (desirable but not essential)
