Job Overview
Our client is looking for Construction Project Manager to support delivery of data center construction projects in Aiken, South Carolina.
In this role, you will manage project scope, schedule, and execution coordination across multiple stakeholders to help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with applicable codes and standards.The goal is to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in strict adherence to all applicable codes and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Project Execution & Coordination: Lead coordination of construction execution between internal teams and external vendors to achieve on-time, high-quality project delivery.
- Schedule & Risk Management: Utilize Primavera P6 and other project controls tools to track schedule milestones, identify risks, and manage dependencies.
- LEAN Implementation: Support the planning and execution of LEAN construction methodologies to enhance predictability and minimize waste.
- Document Management & Field Support: Review and interpret construction documents/drawings, and support field coordination and document management using tools like Client, Procore, and Bluebeam.
- Compliance & Safety: Help ensure all project activities comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations, including specific fire protection requirements.
- Reporting & Issue Resolution: Participate in regular status reviews, project reporting, and issue resolution processes, escalating risks when necessary.
- Site & Closeout Management: Support coordination of site logistics, change management, and project closeout activities, such as punch list completion and turnover documentation.
Qualifications:
- 12+ Years of experience in Construction Project Management, preferably in Data Center or Mission Critical Projects
- Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating construction projects in an active build environment.
- Working knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety standards, including fire protection regulations.
- LEAN construction knowledge and ability to apply continuous improvement concepts in project delivery.
- Proficiency or working familiarity with the following tools:
- Primavera P6 (schedule development and tracking)
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (Client)
- Procore
- Bluebeam
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple parties in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to comply with all applicable site safety requirements and access protocols.
Must-Have Qualification:
1. Data center / mission-critical construction PM experience and ability to run work in an active build environment.
2. Schedule, risk, and dependency management Code + safety compliance knowledge, including building codes/industry standards and fire protection regulations, with strong stakeholder coordination.
