What To Expect in this Role

\n

\n

As a Tenant Fitout Manager supporting mission critical data center projects, you’ll take ownership of projects across active data center sites throughout Northern Virginia. You’ll work onsite at least three days per week and serve as a trusted extension of the client team, bringing oversight, organization, judgment, and coordination needed to deliver projects successfully.

  • Own project performance across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and documentation, keeping priorities aligned and projects moving forward
  • \n

  • Serve as the primary point of coordination among client stakeholders, facility operations, design teams, contractors, vendors, and other project partners
  • \n

  • Oversee design and construction execution, identifying risks early, and maintaining focus on safety, quality, constructability, and operational requirements
  • \n

  • Manage work within active mission critical facilities, coordinating phasing, outages, shutdowns, access, logistics, and other activities that could impact ongoing operations
  • \n

  • Own project documentation and workflows in Procore, ensuring RFIs, submittals, changes, action items, and project records remain current, accurate, and actionable
  • \n

  • Use Bluebeam extensively for drawing review and coordination, including markups, document comparison, design reviews, and issue tracking
  • \n

  • Drive critical project workflows including design reviews, procurement, submittals, RFIs, change management, commissioning, and turnover
  • \n

  • Anticipate problems and drive resolution, bringing forward clear options and recommendations before issues affect operations, cost, or schedule
  • \n

  • Confidently represent the owner with project teams and senior stakeholders, providing concise reporting on progress, financials, schedule, risks, decisions, and upcoming milestones
  • \n

Minimum Qualifications

\n

\n

    \n
  • BS/BA in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; PE, PMP, CCM, or similar professional credentials are a plus
  • \n

  • 7+ years of construction/project management experience, including direct responsibility for schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder coordination
  • \n

  • Data center or mission critical project experience strongly preferred, with experience delivering projects in active, operational environments
  • \n

  • Advanced proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam required, with demonstrated experience using both platforms as part of day-to-day project delivery
  • \n

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex capital projects from design through construction, commissioning, and closeout
  • \n

  • Experience coordinating outages, shutdowns, equipment replacements, commissioning, and phased construction within active facilities
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, controls, and critical data center infrastructure systems, with the ability to effectively oversee technical teams and identify project risks
  • \n

  • Proven ability to represent clients and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, facility operations, design teams, contractors, and vendors
  • \n

  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
  • \n

  • Proactive, accountable, and comfortable operating independently, while collaborating effectively with the client and broader project team
  • \n

  • Ability to work onsite at locations throughout Northern Virginia at least three days per week, at sites across Loudoun & Prince William Counties
