A leading global insurer is looking for an additional Construction Underwriter to join its London team, with a dominant focus on UK CAR and annuals risks.

The role involves underwriting major commercial projects—such as data centres, stadia, and residential developments, but also gaining exposure to wider global risks. You’ll work closely with risk engineers and a wider established team of underwriters, contributing to a collaborative and technically strong team.

This is a strategic opportunity for someone with solid UK market experience, who’s looking to broaden their global exposure. The company is known for writing business from the top down, leading on large accounts, and being viewed as technical experts. You could be an underwriter already or an advanced assistant underwriter frustrated at the lack of exposure and development.
