Contracts Manager – Critical Environment\nNorth West London (Hybrid – 1 day WFH optional)\n£65,000+ Car + Excellent Package\nMonday – Friday\n\nIdeal for candidates based in:\nWest London, North West London, North London, West Hertfordshire, Berkshire or Buckinghamshire.\n\nWe are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a high-profile, client-facing critical environment site. This role suits someone used to working in highly regulated, business-critical buildings where downtime is not an option.\n\nYou will be responsible for the day-to-day management of building services, compliance, and contractor performance, while acting as the key interface between engineering teams and senior stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManaging all hard FM operations including M&E systems and compliance. Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance schedules.

Managing specialist contractors and service partners. Ensuring statutory compliance and audit readiness at all times. Acting as the senior on-site point of contact for the client.

Driving performance, safety, and service delivery standards\n\nEssential Experience:\n\nYou must have experience working within critical or highly regulated environments, such as:\n\n * Life Sciences / Laboratory facilities\n\n * Pharmaceutical or R&D environments\n\n * Financial or corporate HQ buildings with internal data centres\n\n * Scientific or healthcare research sites\n\n * Secure or highly controlled commercial buildings\n\n(Pure data centre backgrounds alone are not suitable – this must be a client-facing critical environment)\n\nIdeal Background:\n\n * Strong technical understanding of building services (HVAC, electrical, critical plant)\n\n * Experience managing subcontractors and compliance frameworks\n\n * Confident dealing with senior clients and stakeholders\n\n * IOSH / NEBOSH desirable\n\n * Hard FM background essential\n\nPackage:\n\n * Salary: £65,000+\n\n * Company car\n\n * Strong benefits package\n\n * Monday to Friday working\n\n * Option to work 1 day from home (or 5 days on site if )\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to manage a flagship site in a high-profile critical environment with long-term career progression.\n\nApply now or contact us for a confidential discussion
