Controls Engineer

What You'll Do

Support the successful delivery of EPMS projects under the direction of a Project Engineer

Develop Ignition/EPMS applications based on technical documentation or customer specifications

Configure, program, and test CodeSys (WAGO) controllers to meet project requirements

Integrate and troubleshoot communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and BACnet
-
Assist with commissioning activities to ensure system reliability and compliance
-
Act as a technical subject matter expert during customer and vendor meetings

Analyze and resolve system issues in live, mission-critical environments

Maintain accurate project documentation in Procore

Follow all site safety requirements and best practices
What You'll Bring
-
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field

Strong experience in Ignition design, development, and deployment

Hands-on experience with CodeSys programming for WAGO PLCs

Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP)

Familiarity with control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and within a project team
Qualifications

Ignition Core or Gold Certification

Experience with Python scripting or SQL integration

Prior work experience in data centers or other mission-critical facilities

Understanding of SCADA architecture and design standards
