Cooling Service Engineer\n\nWe’re looking for a Cooling Service Engineer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for commissioning, servicing, and repairing critical cooling equipment across a wide range of sites. Expect frequent travel, including coverage and training in Italy.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n\n• Commission and start up newly installed cooling systems.\n• Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on chilled water, DX, economiser, In-row, perimeter, and containment cooling systems.\n• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.\n• Supervise installation contractors and ensure best practices.\n• Work in critical environments, including data centres.\n• Use specialist software and applications for system analysis and reporting.\n• Follow all safety, compliance, and reporting procedures.\n• Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 5 weeks).\n\n• Proactively identify and communicate onsite opportunities for additional services, upgrades, or solutions that enhance customer operations and align with Schneider Electric offerings.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n• F-Gas qualified and fully certified (City & Guilds Level 2+, NVQ, HNC in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning).\n• Previous work experience in cooling service roles.\n• Strong knowledge of critical cooling systems (data centre experience ).\n• Turbo Core experience is a big advantage.\n• Confident using technical software and system diagnostics tools.\n• A full UK driving licence (a company van is provided).\n• Willing to travel UK-wide and complete training in Italy (Padua, near Venice).\n\nThe team & role:\n\n• You’ll join a specialist team of 11+ engineers and apprentices.\n• You’ll primarily cover the M4 corridor but may travel elsewhere.\n• You’ll generally work in your assigned region, but overnight stays may be required.\n\nWhat we offer you:\n\nCompetitive salary & Bonus Scheme, 28 Days Annual Leave + Public Holidays, Holiday Buy & Sell programme, Pension Scheme, Employee Share Ownership Programme, Various Health & Wellbeing Support Options, Gym Flex, Open Talent Market (internal mobility opportunities + access to mentors & projects globally), Shopping & Dining Discounts, Learning Portal, and much more.\n\nAt Schneider Electric, & is at the heart of our organisation.
