We are seeking a skilled Network Implementation Engineer to support the replacement of a core network switching infrastructure. This role involves assisting with the deployment of new network equipment, planning and executing a seamless cutover from the existing environment, and ensuring operational integrity during and after the transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess current core network configurations

• Participate in planning sessions to coordinate upgrade timing and risk mitigation

• Assist with physical installation, configuration validation, and migration support

• Work alongside project management to ensure efficient coordination during scheduled downtime

• Recommend best practices and identify configuration improvements if necessary

• Create or update network documentation and diagrams as needed

• Support testing and post-cutover validation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network deployments

• Strong understanding of core routing, switching, and network design principles

• Experience planning and executing hardware replacements and cutovers

• Ability to analyze configurations and suggest optimizations based on best practices

• Comfortable working in high-stakes, scheduled outage environments

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

Qualifications:

• Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent experience)

• Familiarity with modern data center architectures

• Experience in multi-site network environments
