Your new role

As a Cost Management Associate Director, you will take a senior leadership role across major data centre projects, driving cost strategy from early feasibility through to final account.

You will operate as a key commercial lead, partnering with clients, guiding decision-making, and ensuring cost certainty across highly technical, fast-paced environments. This is a role where your expertise will directly influence the successful delivery of mission-critical infrastructure.

You will:

  • Lead cost management across large-scale data centre developments
  • Develop and manage budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
  • Provide commercial insight and value engineering in complex technical environments
  • Oversee procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations
  • Manage contract administration and change control
  • Monitor financial performance, risks, and strategic reporting
  • Act as a senior client interface and mentor high-performing teams

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
  • Proven track record delivering £50m+ construction projects
  • Experience in data centres or mission-critical environments (strongly )
  • Background within a consultancy environment
  • Excellent commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree qualified; MRICS or similar accreditation desirable
