We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Infrastructure Technician to join our dedicated team. This vital role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting essential communication and security systems that support critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of telecommunications, computer networking, and electrical systems, ensuring the reliable performance of vital infrastructure components.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical competency, professionalism, and experience working in environments where reliability and precision are essential—such as data centers, hospitals, and other high‐availability facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on‐site installation, startup, and commissioning of equipment and infrastructure components, including low‐voltage cabling and raised/access flooring systems. Ensure all work aligns with customer expectations, project requirements, and timelines.
- Maintain detailed time logs, service documentation, inventory records, and jobsite reports. Collaborate effectively with other technicians and project teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Follow all safety procedures and industry standards, including OSHA requirements. Participate in ongoing safety training and maintain any required certifications.
- Provide professional customer service while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the field.
- Support project managers and engineers by communicating site conditions, installation progress, and potential challenges.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands‐on field service experience with exposure to power systems, low‐ or medium‐voltage electrical work, or mission‐critical facility environments.
- High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline is .
- Strong diagnostic and problem‐solving abilities, with proven experience repairing or commissioning electrical and mechanical systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and willingness to travel regularly throughout the region.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‐growing, dynamic environment while contributing to operational and organizational growth.
- OSHA training or certification is a plus.
Location & Travel
- Position is based out of the central Texas region.
- Frequent travel throughout the area is required, with occasional nationwide assignments depending on project needs.
