Location: Itasca, IL
Pay: $22–$28/hr (up to $30/hr DOE) + significant overtime
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM typical, Saturdays as needed

If yes, here’s what you’ll do:
- Tackle full-cycle fabrication: layout, fit-up, weld, and final assembly
- Interpret detailed prints for large, engineered assemblies
- Measure precisely with tape, calipers, and micrometers
- Use saws, grinders, and drills to prep and finish components
- Safely operate overhead cranes to position assemblies
- Verify alignment, squareness, and structural integrity
Tools & Techniques You’ll Use
- MIG welding as a core skill (TIG a plus)
- Precision measurement for tight tolerances
- General fab equipment: saws, grinders, drills
- Shop material handling with cranes and related gear
What You Need to Bring
- 3–5+ years in welding/fabrication; non-production shop experience
- Strong blueprint literacy, ideally with large assemblies
- Mechanical assembly experience (highly )
- A builder’s mindset—hands-on, detail-driven
