Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer – Milton Keynes\nLocation: Milton Keynes\nEmployment Type: Contract up to 4 weeks\nAbout the Role:\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Data Cabling Engineers to join our team for upcoming projects in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of structured cabling systems across commercial and industrial environments.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * \n Installation of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fibre optic cabling.\n * \n Termination and testing of copper and fibre networks to industry standards.\n * \n Working with patch panels, cabinets, containment, and cable management systems.\n * \n Fault finding, troubleshooting, and remedial works.\n * \n Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.\nRequirements:\n * \n Valid CNCI (Copper & Fibre) or ECS/CSCS card (essential).\n * \n Proven experience as a Data Cabling Engineer.\n * \n Ability to read and follow technical drawings and site plans.\n * \n Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\n * \n Ability to work independently or as part of a team.\nDesirable:\n * \n IPAF or PASMA certification.\n * \n Knowledge of data centre environments.\n * \n Experience with various structured cabling brands.\nWhat We Offer:\n * \n Competitive rates (dependent on experience).\n * \n Ongoing work opportunities in the Milton Keynes area.\n * \n Supportive team environment with the potential for long-term progression
