Data Center Technician (Technical support/Helpdesk/Network Technician)
Hermiston, OR
Duration – 6 months contract- possibility to extension.
Work schedule:
- Schedule flexibility required, including potential night shift positions
- Shift options include Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
- First two weeks: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (Training)
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic networking knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP (1+ years)
- Familiarity with hardware components inside a server/computer (1+ years)
- Ability to perform hardware replacements and repairs
- Basic Linux/Unix command line knowledge
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Receptive to feedback and able to adjust performance and behavior as required
Degree or Certification:
· High school or equivalent diploma
· (Optional) CompTIA, CompTIA+
