Data Center Fiber Optic Specialist

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Rightech is currently looking for fifty Data Center Fiber Optic Technicians in Columbus, OH for Day 2 operations on a major data center project — validation, audits, rack and stack, and related scopes. Candidates should have experience in fiber troubleshooting, testing and certification.

We are open to candidates nationwide.

- $60.00 per day per diem 7 days per week
- Shift 8 pm - 8 am

Candidates should have the following experience:

• 3+ years of documented industry experience in fiber optics
• Capable of restoring complex, multi domain failures across fiber optic or twisted pair deployments, such as Loss of signal, low signal and interface errors.
• Perform work to establish scope, plan, and procedure with little to no guidance from lead technicians.
• Documented fiber optic testing certification on OTDR and OLTS.
• Certified in Fiber Splicing Advanced troubleshooting skills in fiber and copper systems.
• Experience operating and performing work in operational environments as well as projects in live mission-critical environments.
• Have relevant required Certifications required for the role.
